Meltdown is almost upon us, and Turf needs to get ridable.
Meet at 5:30 at red gate. We will be working on Turf.
Turf needs lots of trail care and love

So walk into turf and find us anytime after 5:30. We will start from where psycho meets Turf and work towards the parking lot.

Work we did last Thurday did make a big difference. Back side of Turf( closer to Psycho ) is draining very well. We need to clean up the middle section today.

Rumor has it that a one arm man is going to show up at the workday. So get your butt out there and don't let him show you up.

I'll be there.  I've never been to a workday, and I don't know much about trail work, but I know how to cut, dig, carry, and pull weeds. I'll need to sign a waiver form, right?  Is the one posted under workdays still current (it says 2008), or will I need to sign a newer one?

Looking forward to it!

You  don't need to print one in advance. We have them in the trailer. It's just a convenience to have it filled out in advance.

Planning to be there, and planning to leave sort of soon so I can grab some chow and then do a 'glass walk' on a couple of trails.  If you can avoid coming thru the intersection of Archer & 104th Ave (WS Road), do so.  It gets jacked up worse than normal due to construction.

Some of you guys are A** Holes on the trail. I accidentally went on some part of the trail I guess I wasn't supposed too and you all were extremely rude and ignorant, yelling and stuff. I really appreciate what you guys do but if you showed a little more respect to other riders that you share the trail with maybe more people would be willing to avoid the parts that you don't want people to ride on. Not all people know about the website either!!!

Up until a few minutes ago, the trail condition report stated to stay off of Turf, because it was not in suitable rideable condition, but you apparently rode it anyhow, so what does that say about your character... seeing as though you are aware of the website?  This is not the issue though... you could have gotten off your bike and walked by those who were out there working so as not to disturb the work they were out there doing for you, me and everyone else who enjoys Palos. Maybe thank them as well?  I am just saying... it does not make someone an asshole, because they choose to work on trails, while others choose to ride by without acknowledging what it is they are out there doing.  I do agree w/ you that no one should be have been rude to you or hurt your feelings, because at the end of the day, we all just wanna ride our bikes. If you were not aware of how things should work before, now you do, so the problem solved itself.

It's been a rough year so far with all the canceled workdays due to rain and made worse by overgrowth. If you were unjustly criticized as you ride by that is regrettable. Not everybody knows about CAMBr or what we do, but if you slow down for 30 seconds and talk to us we are ready to take the opportunity to fill you in.

What we were most upset about was the fact that any riders could not have gotten there by any other means than to ride through sloppy, wet pits of mud which would turn any reasonable rider around without even thinking about it.
