Donovan and me put down a little soil tech for a test and the dirt was already firming up within a few minutes to the point where a bike tire wasn't even leaving a mark. Even the little amount that Mikey used made the table jump much more resistant to the weather than normal dirt.

I think that stuff is going to work out but we will probably need more. Even if we don't get the full soak, it will hold the dirt together so much better than how it is now. Donovan made a good point that the 5 inches of soak is for building cargo plane runways and other super heavy duty use applications. We can get away with less.

I'm thinking of having one more push where we fix up the jumps a little bit then soak them in Soil Tech. Nothing slave labor style like the rebuild, but maybe one jump a day. That should hold everything till the dirt jam and beyond without any more real work being needed.

Is there a budget for any more of that stuff. Also, a crop duster would make applying it so much easier, so check if there is room in the budget for that as well.

CAMBr applied for a grant from REI with some of those grant funds allocated to getting more soiltac for the PBP and garden.  We should be hearing soon if we got the grant or not.  Even if we don't we should be able to swing some more cash for another order if it's going to work that good.

Sounds good.

I'm going to be using it over the next few days to try to dial in the exact amount needed.

Looks like we may be able to get away with half a can per jump for jumps that are 5-7 feet. Smaller jumps take less.

But I need to use it a bit more to get a definite number.

I probably can't make it out tomorrow but I'm looking to come out Wednesday and maybe Thursday.
