Kart, sounds like you tore your labrum.

I tore mine in Vail two winters ago.  ONLY positive thing about it was it got me on the road bike (couldn't MTB for a while) and in shape finally after 15 years of MTBing.

CrashAndBurn---what are you going to be wearing @ the Nut tomorrow?

There is a small chance I might head to Chestnut Sunday. Interviewing a pet sitter today.  If anyone can recommend one near I55 and Weber, I am interested.  Would be great to hook up.  I did ski Alpine yesterday and the snow was surprisingly very good and the place was empty. Skied a lot of runs.
Burak, sorry to hear about the shoulder.  I assume it happened on a big air helicopter and a gust of wind knocked you off course.
Also everyone drive safe.  I was driving home on I55 at midnight and the road turned to black ice.  Many cars spun out facing wrong way.

Ended up deciding on Alpine about 6am this morning.  Roads were real bad.  1:45hr drive was more like 2:30hr.  Didn't want to spend an extra 2-3 hours total for Chestnut.

Snow was excellent. Fresh 4 inches or so on top of a groomed base.  Did about ~40 runs in 4 hours and only 'heard' ice once.

Funny/sad: there must have been 500+ 'kids' (10-18) by the time I left at 1pm-ish.  And probably 50 20-30 year olds.  Sad how everyone gets lazy/wants to sit home and watch TV once they hit college age.

Great day at Chestynut yesterday with the Cambr crew!  It ended up being a 3 hr. drive from A-town but it was worth it.  They had 8" of fresh pow!  Had a blast breaking in the new board... looking forward to hitting the slopes again Friday!
