Yes. Nothing to announce, at least regarding Knoch Knolls, just yet though.

Right now we have no projects. Aside from the mud, the trails are in good condition—which is a compliment to the work done last year! We'll for sure have work to do come May once the branches start growing over the trail. If anything comes up before then we'll get the news out.

Could we see about burying some 4" or 6" PVC pipes at the beginning of colossus in the water crossing?

Sediment would probably fill up small-diameter pipes pretty quickly - that culvert we put in on Jack Rabbit might not be big enough for that reason (we need to monitor it for a few years to know).

We talked about putting two larger, rock-covered culverts in Colossus' water crossing, but the vote was to leave it be as a skill challenge. Instead, stabilizing it with larger rock is an option. If my last ride was any indication, there might not be a need for that either but these decisions are always fluid. Today's sweet crossing could be tomorrow's crap hole.

I have to say I like the rocks the way they are.  It is a signature of SWK and it is a little bit of a challenge.

As in the past I would vote against changing the crossing.

I too enjoy that water crossing.  It's probably my favorite feature of SWK in the spring.

Well I'm of the same opinion. So I guess the real question is who had the idea first and who listened to whom?

We're back on the culvert again? I thought we cleared that up and decided that it was sentimental to Todd?

Uh.. no, I was explaining why we weren't putting pipe there, under current conditions, so BMX Crisis didn't think I was just blowing off his suggestion.

I should have a shock pump with me if you're riding this morning.

No big deal on cleaning that culvert.  We can tie a rope around Little Jimmy and drag him through a couple of times to clear it out.
