Ray's is sponsoring a women's weekend Friday, Feb 25th thru Sunday, Feb 27th.  Admission is free for women all weekend.  Friday, Feb 25th will be women-only between 9am and 4pm.  The event will be hosted by Leigh Donovan.  This will be a good chance to sharpen your skills and have a huge amount of fun.

I guess, most women are intimidated to a point that they never get involved in the sport. The ones that do…seem to love it. The more the merrier as these women specific events are needed opportunities in opening up a new world for them. It’s all good!

I am REALLY interested in attending Ray's "Woman's Weekend" this month...which leaves me with a couple questions:

First question and most important...does anyone have or know someone who has a size "small" (16") mtb I could borrow/rent for that weekend?

And if I can get a bike, would any ladies be interested in car-pooling to Milwaukee with me?

Hope there are some "takers" out there...this sounds like a great opportunity and a ton of fun!

THANKS!!!!

They do rent bikes but, if you are shorter than average, you may want to contact them in advance to  make sure they have one in your size. How tall are you? I will be going up on that Sunday.

I'm 5'4 (and a 1/2) to be exact! lol  My old bike (which fit me perfectly) was a 16" Salsa 29er.  I'll call or email Ray's and check into the bike rental options.  Thanks so much for the info!

I've temporarily canceled my plans to go to Ray's.  I have some big exams coming up and need to stay focused on them right now.

I'm sorry for the delay in responding to your post.
