I actually found it: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/37252257/Palos%20Trail%20System%20v1.0.kmz
You need to first download the free version of Google Earth as well.

One trick I learned recently: you can plot kml/kmz files on Google Maps directly by entering the URL to the file in the Google Maps search box or by appending it to a http://maps.google.com/maps?q= URL. Dealing with kml/kmz URLs with escaped spaces and other characters (eg, a "%20" in the URL) can be tricky when trying to make a direct link since the "%" needs to be passed directly to Google Maps; in that case, you need to escape the % itself by changing it to %25, eg:

http://maps.google.com/maps?q=http://dl.dropbox.com/u/37252257/Palos%2520Trail%2520System%2520v1.0.kmz

SS is a fad. Haven't you heard?

I'm gonna have to get me an internal geared hub (eg, a Rohloff SpeedHub). That way, I'll have my gears, but it will look like I have a SS so I can still ride with the cool kids.

ss speed while bad on the knees if uphilling a a lot can actually help with gear management as it teaches you when to flow and when to pedal....obviously with gears and looking ahead (gered or ss- look ahead ) when you get to the pedal spots and stand ups that you would do on ss , you should already downshift to easier gear to keep momentum and flow.

SS is cool because of that alone anot to mention the "KISS"= less break down .

Hehe, or a hammerschmidt in the front and a SS hub with 1 cog in the back... Dinglespeed?  I was considering one of those internal geared hubs but I think it would explode the first time I punched the drive train, could be excellent for XC/AM or commuting though.  Pinion gearbox looks pretty cool too.

Pinion geared hubs were plenty sufficient before the advent of high torque legs.

Does this apply to CX bikes as well as mountain?
