So I was booking a trip to Mexico for labor day and thought instead of going to Mexico again maybe I should go somewhere over vacay to MTB.  Any suggestions on where I should go?  Was thinking Moab, Copper Harbor, or Sedona.  Will have a total of eight days free.  I've biked Custer, BCSP, Kickapoo, Palos, SWK, both Kettles, and Alum Creek.

Advise is very appreciated!

If I had eight days to ride anywhere, I'd seriously consider checking out Pisgah, Tsali, etc.

Whistler.
Worlds largest and best downhill mountain bike park.
100+ miles of some of the best singletrack on the planet in the valley and surrounding areas.
Vancouver's North Shore an hour away.
(more than half of those cool photos/ads in MTB magazines are shot in this area of the world).
Make sure you bring some good technical skills.

Copper Harbour MI is great, Pisgah & DuPont NC are awesome, couldn't go wrong with Whistler, Sedona or Moab.  If it were me, I would fly me and my bike to Portland, OR, rent a vehicle and hit Mt. Hood then down to Bend, over to Oakridge then drive  back up to Portland.

Heck, there are so many places this is really an unfair question!

Enjoy where ever you go!

I've never regretted a ride I've done but I regret each and every one I've missed.

Thanks everyone - so many options.  I wish there was a travel agency for outdoor sports that would listen to me, what I like, etc. and just plan the darn trip.  Having only ridden Midwest Trails there appear to be too many options (NC, AZ, CA, UT, etc,.)

Burak - I meant Memorial Day, not labor day.  Maybe I'll plan to go out with you this year for Labor Day.  Yes, Chels has family there.  The pics you took of CH were amazing.  I imagine I'll get laughed at for this question but is it A LOT better than BCSP?

in absolutely no way do i endorse hippie music,,
but this is a real good video of the trails across the street from me. its considered 'technical XC' by phoenix standards
even in mid summer, the Usery mountain range blocks the direct sun until about 9:30am so you can get a 5.5 hour ride in before it hits 100 if you have kevlar taint implants.

I did this last year and am going back in March for 3 days.  Had too much fun last year.  Great trails and Asheville is awesome.  Check it out

This is somewhere east of Power Rd? I was going to try & ride these trails last year & didn't make it out there. This looks more technical than the Desert Classic.

oh hell yes, but still nowhere nearly as tech as on top of SoMo,, i endo'd just a few days ago and put a 1" sidewall gash in my front conti MK2.2 (luckily i always carry a spare slime tube)
hawes has several cough-up-a-lung climb sections too. some of the switchbacks are really tight with guaranteed pain if you go off trail.

are you coming out here this winter? i know you had some DC trail pics last year

I don't think that I'll get out to PHX this season. I'd sure like to though.
