This morning the Kane County Forest Preserve Districts Planning and Utilization Committee voted to approve the Raceway Woods natural surface trail proposal pending signing of the license agreement. Once the legal teams and our insurance company have reviewed the agreement it will be finalized and send in for signature which is expected on February 16th.

Once signed trail development will start as soon as the snow has melted.

This is going to be great.  Somewhere to ride close by.  I will be available to help after March.   Coaching right now.  Is there any talk about the farmland along the fox that was donated?  That would be a cool prairie ride or run.  You guys rock!!!  New life for the North.  I work at a local shop in Barrington.  Any info to pass along to customers.   This is great for the shops.   I can see it now.  Hey, is there anywhere to mtb ride around here.  Um, Deergr, ah wait a cool place was just put on the map to ride.  Raceway woods near the town of Algonquin in Carpentersville‎.   Thanks CAMBR. And the boys representing the North.

The Brunner Forest Preserve that rajc 5000 refers to that was donated is out of bounds for mountain biking

Kane County have made that very clear to us and we will respect that.

Regards

Still great news, but how's this rolling along? Anything we can do to speed up the process a bit from the community activism side of things?
