Things went very well last night and the Village Board gave direction to proceed with working out the details to make the trails happen.

CAMBr has already passed them sample MOU's and legal agreements which they are currently reviewing.

Andres Park is moving forward at lightning speed thanks to the Raceway Woods agreement that paved the way.

The CAMBr proposal to build a trail system and bike park at Keith Andres Park will be presented to the Village of Carpentersville Board of Trustees on June 19th at 7pm in the Village Hall Board Room.

1200 LW Besinger Drive, Carpentersville, IL, 60110.

This will be a public meeting. If you are local to the area this will be a good time to show your support.

We managed to distribute 2/3 of the flyers this evening for trail development at Andres Park in Carpentersville. We will finish up tomorrow. We will meet up by the kids playground on Austin Avenue at Andres Park tomorrow (Friday) at 5.30pm if would like to help out.

The Village also passed on the draft agreement for the Andres Park. Our legal team will review but it is very close to being final. There is a good chance Andres Park will be approved before Raceway.

The people that we spoke to while handing out the pamphlets were interested and positive on the prospect of the skills park as well as trail system. There were a lot of people on bikes in the area that you could see would just love this facility.
