I have done the fat tire race in Copper Harbor the last 3 years and plan to do it again! Glad to see Chicago area people getting up there.

The " Big House" we rented at Copper harbour for the Labor day trip is full.
We are staying at http://laclabellelodge.com/

If you are planning on going please make reservations for yourself. There are still cabins left for that weekend.
CH is very small so hotel/motels fill up very quick!

What nights are we actually staying in Copper? I'm assuming Thursday night we'd be staying in Marquette and riding there on Friday then making our way to Copper? Trying to work on getting a cabin. going to shoot for the 6 person. who wants in?

I rented the big house for Fri, Sat, and Sun and might get it for Thurs as well. I don't plan on going to Marquette this year, too much good shit around copper.

I'm planning on hitting up Marquette as well as Houghton.
Lots of good stuff at Marquette I did not get to enjoy last year :-)

Buddy of mine just opened a new brewpub in CH - Brickside Brewery.  If you're going up to Copper, give Jason a shout.

Done, done, and done. Like we need an excuse to go to a brewery besides the beer...

Excellent!  If he knows how to make a decent IPA, he will definitely have some return customers!

We've got another cabin spot rented which is currently full up with people.  If you aren't part of that cabin group (you know who you are), speak out so we can start another rental and get another cabin full up!  I think we might have at least one loose person or couple who could conceivably go into another cabin to make it worthwhile if more of you want in on a cabin.

So you need to find at least 3 other people to go in it with you - or hopefully at least 3 other people will speak up here. We might have some overflow from our cabin?  I'm not sure yet. Then you or someone else in the cabin needs to call and put a deposit down on a cabin.  I'm not sure how many are available still, I didn't ask her.  It's about a $100 deposit.

Hopefully some folks will speak up here as as a newer member to the group, I don't know many people (or people who aren't already in a cabin).  I don't mind handling the reservation/deposit as I am just looking for someone to split costs with.
