Palos has a problem. Too many riders and not enough workers. Before we move on to another project we need to get this one done. If everyone would make one workday a year....clear sightlines, no mudholes, new reroutes, and more new trails. This may not be the politically correct thing to say, but I would be embarrassed to ride all the time and never pick up a shovel.

Googlemaps Link to Workday parking if you get there prior to 9am

After 9am we will be parked along the road by dynamite road trailhead. Limited parking is available as such we usually pile into cars and drive to the work area.

If I'm coming south on 83 and taking that to 107th....where is the boat launch?  I'm not too familiar with the area.  It'll be my first time coming out for a work day, is there anything I should know ahead of time?  Thanks, Russ

It'll be on your right about 1.5miles from the RT83 & 107th intersection.  It's the first parking lot you'll see on the right for the preserve.

If we dont get any more rain, yes for sure. At 4:00 the radar shows the rain is past us, I'm thinking yellow by afternoon.

Sorry I won't be making it after all.  I'll try to make the next one on the 5th.  I'm looking forward to meeting all of you!
