Join us @ 9am for some needed trailwork. We'll be trimming the far end of Colossus and seeing how far we can get on Vertical Velocity. Meet at the 2nd lot. Saw Wee Kee is a great place to ride, keeping it in good shape is a great way to give back. See you there!

First trail workday of the year? You'll have to fill out some paperwork. You can either get the forms at the workday, or download a copy here and bring them filled out.

Is the SWK workday this weekend still happening? with all the events at palos? If so, is anybody gonna do a ride beforehand?

I plan on being there.  As for riding beforehand, I would join ya but I don't think I'll have my rear wheel back from getting repaired. I think a bunch of old dudes usually ride early on Saturdays.

Yeah, we might be old, but we are slow too.

I'm not sure about being there to ride, but for sure I will miss the workday.  This is Meltdown weekend and there will be plenty to do at Palos and the workday starts at 1:00.  (No I'm not doing both (I'm too old), as Palos will really start well before 1:00 and go until dark, I'm sure)

I'm not 100% sure if I can make it. I may have a family commitment. just checking to see if it's an option in case my family stuff falls through. I know palos is out of the question cause I'll be tied up later in the day for sure.

It's not about the Meltdown. It's how we fund our chapter so we can build more single-track. If we had a Sugar Daddy we wouldn't need the race.

Oh I know. But with the race and tomorrow's pre-race prep, a lot of people won't be thinking about the SWK workday. I could end up being a work crew of one. It's happened before.

The West Chapter feels ya Stan, if we had a sugar daddy we'd be paying someone to do the trail work as SWK.   But............ CAMBr(as a whole) needs the race, SWK needs love, I need a hair cut and Chicago needs CAMBr.
