How long would this last?  and how intense is it?

I was contemplating starting with 101 in July, I can ride Swallow Cliff in like 40-45 min one lap (hahahahah please don't laugh) don't know if that information helps at all to guide me whether or not should I skip 101 and go to this one.

You are welcome to attend without a prerequisite.  Riding the multi-track at Swallow Cliffs is different than single track, but if you felt comfortable on those trails and have ridden on single track a time or two, or if you are an experience roadie, you should be ok.

What's the worst thing that can happen?  You have to drop out and go to 101.  Not a big deal.  So my advice would be, give it a shot.

I had a great time, thanks to everyone who gives their time to make events like this possible. I should be showing my face around Palos more often now

I had a great time too.  Here's the GPS track from my group.

Martha told me yesterday that it was still on so count on it.  I'm going to try to make it myself.

It's hot, but it's on!  Want me to sign you up, Nono?

TO EVERYONE COMING - BRING WATER TONIGHT!  Hydrate before you ride!

My thoughts and prayers go out to the rider who was carried out of TURF by emergency personnel this evening.  The rider wasn't part of the MTB 103 class but we were able to help out in getting the emergency folks to him.  I hope that the rider isn't hurt too bad and is able to return soon.

I must've just left because I saw the trucks with the lights on a few hundred yards after I came out from the fork. For the guys leading the 103 thanks a lot it was pretty fun.
