Terror trail run, saw wee kee, may 12th 5pm.

I imagine they will close the park for the second half of the day.

It's a trail running event the Oswego Park District is doing. Think Halloween in May. The registration form is at the top of the linked page, but the event info is about 1/2 way down.

Did you ever think that perhaps this run would be so terrifying that all of the participants would need new pants?  Personally, I can't imagine anything more terrifying than running through SWK in broad daylight during a Saturday afternoon.

That was my plan when I decided to take french instead of spanish in school.  I was a little disappointed with the immediate results

I was out at the park not too long after this event.  I was shocked at how much was left behind after it was over.  Wooden stakes, laminated signs, "scary" clothing.  Plastic bones and just plain old garbage.  Very disappointing.  I am shocked an event organizer such as this (park district) would leave the place such a mess.
