just got a set of hydros installed on my new bike. I have zero experience with hydraulic brakes and there is a ton of extra housing left. whats the best way to deal with this? They are avid xo brakes if that helps. thanks

If a bike shop sold and setup the brakes for you, it is kinda standard practice to set the hoses to a proper length for the bike during install.

With my Magura Martga SLs I just had to cut'em to the correct length and reattach. No bleeding necessary. With my Avids I had to bleed.
