On May 19th and 20th, CAMBr with have a Promotional tent at the Carol Stream Park Districts JUST PLAY! Sports and Recreation Festival.
http://www.csparks.org/justplay/

This is a great opportunity for exposure, as there are 5,000 visitors to the festival each year.

What we are asking for are volunteers to represent CAMBr in the Tent during the Festival. We would really appreciate your help, as the festival is two days long, and it is hard for one individual to commit an entire weekend.

I'd like to split the two days into two shifts. My wife and I will take one of the shifts, and hopefully we can get 6 additional members to help with the other shifts (2 per shift in the tent).

The duties will include handing out trail maps, promoting the meltdown, promoting CAMBr and its mission, raising awareness of what we do, answering questions, and giving away swag.

Please state your availability in the POLL!!!

THANKS!!!

I'm bumping this opportunity to help out CAMBr. Advocacy and education are the most important aspects of our club. They are the foundation upon which opportunities for new trail, a volunteer trailworker base, and ultimately a better biking experience are built upon.

If you have just 4 hours to contribute and represent a group that works towards what you are passionate about, please sign up to help!

So do we get any swag for working this?   I think it would be nice if everyone working this wears one of the Cambr button down shop shirts that we sold at the Cocktails with Christian event... not sure if there are any of those left.

I'll also provide each volunteer with a Truvativ hat, SRAM socks, and double workday points.

How about that?
