I used this wheelset last year around Chicago's singletrack on a steel hardtail, so you can imagine nothing extreme. I'm on a 29er now and these are just collecting dust, as you can tell from the pics. Both wheels are perfectly straight, spokes are nice and tight, no damage to either rim, rim decals are perfect as well (custom by Slik Graphics UK). Hubs are the proven UK Hope Pro 2 hubs, front is currently set up for 20mm axle (QR adapters included, 15QR optional adapters available online) and the rear hub is currently set up to 135x10 thru-axle (135x10 QR adapters included) and I'll include a Transition Bikes 10mm nutted axle, it works just fine in any regular QR dropout, nice and secure, and very stiff. The rear hub is convertible to 135x12 and 142x12 with optional adapters available online, so pretty much covers everything but DH 150x12 axles.

The rims are the classic Mavic EX721 (32 hole) in black, this combination builds into a bombproof, thrashable & reliable wheelset that fits just about any frame and fork axle type. Sapim Race black butted spokes and silver brass nipples.

Included cassette is a Shimano SLX 11-34, barely used, super clean.

Also including 4 replacement Sapim Race spokes and brass nipples and 2 brand new bearings for the front hub that I bought with the wheels new for future service.

$375 shipped to the lower 48.
