Hi, so I created a mobile friendly version of the current trail conditions. I know there is an android app (which has more functionality) and the mobile site (kinda ugly).  So this is something that should work fine on any iPhone, Android or other modern smart phone.

Essentially it scrapes the cambr home page and pulls the trail information. Then it reformats that to something that is more suited for a smart phone screen.

Keep in mind this is something I threw together over an evening, while having some beers. There are probably bugs and typos.

Take a look. If this is something people would use I could clean it up and host it on a proper domain. If you have feature suggestions let me know. If you think I shouldn't be ripping data off the cambr website, fair enough, I'll take the thing down.

Right now I am hosting it here: http://cambrstatus.andrewdemey.com/

If you have an iPhone you can save it to your home screen and it will run similar to a native app.

Thanks

Thanks a lot.
Anything we can do to get the trail conditions out there and easier to access is of great help.
Let us know if you want us to host the app.

Thanks for noticing that. I think it should be fixed. I am only checking this on iPhone so if anyone sees anything please let me know.

This is really good.
Can you do anything to make it POP! (just kidding)

this would also work well as an embedded iframe on a blog.

Yep you could do that but it is designed for the latest mobile browsers. I just tested it in IE8 and it doesn't even work.
