Just wondering, I have my Trek 69er ss and i love the frame and front end. Love the way the bike looks. Except how different the two wheels look. Would a 650b wheel change much about how the bike rides? Would it even fit? Id hate to buy a new wheel and tire to find out it wont even mount to the bike. Any advice would be great. If this idea is totally absurd, let me know that too.

If it would fit, it would steepen the head angle slightly, raise the bottom bracket ever so slightly. The radius is about a half inch bigger. I have one you could try for the fit and possibly a short ride.

If you can't make the turns....take off the training wheels.
