Update on Raceway…..still no sign of the license agreement but things are still moving in the right direction.

We had targeted Thursday 15 March for approval of the Raceway license agreement but as of today we have not been given the license agreement to review. The Kane County legal team and insurance company are still working on a agreement language. Once we receive it, it will be reviewed by the CAMBr board, legal team and our insurance company for approval and then returned to Kane County with comment if needed. I must say is is looking tight for approval this week.

If it does miss this weeks approval we will need to wait a month until the next board meeting for approval.

Worst case is that we are delayed one month to start construction. During that time we should go in and flag the trail in detail and get ready for development.

Regards
Mike

I have just heard from Kane County.

The license agreement is not going to be completed in time for the board to approve on Thursday. The Kane County insurance company, Dundee Township and KCFPD are still trying to agree on the wording of the agreement. At the moment Dundee Township will not sign based on the current language, but they are working through it.

I have asked the Forest Preserve District for permission to flag the area while we still have line of sight to the flow of the trail.

It was fun meeting the Cambr North crew at Diamond Jims.  Thanks to all of you for putting the work in, and pushing for better trails in the 'burbs!  Aaron and I went for a quick blast around the north end of the park-- that area by the creek is a lot of fun, as are some of the flat prairie sections.  The cliff by the ravine could certainly use some signage... almost had a spill up there!

Looking forward to work days @ Raceway
