Petrifsing Springs Kenosha, WI http://www.trailville.com/wiki/WI_Kenosha_Petrifying_Springs_Park_Trails

I have been riding these trails for a couple years now.  Does anyone ever work on these? I am looking to start volunteering to help with maintaining the trails.

It wouldn't be CAMBr, of course. Maybe a local bike shop would know what organization is active. Did you try the contact in your link?

"It may not technically be legal to ride bikes on the hiking trails in Petrifying Springs County Park. I've heard there may be a regulation on the books that bikes are not allowed on trails in any of Kenosha County Parks. However, people (including myself) have been riding here for decades so riding here seems to be "tolerated".

Yeah that's why I put it in the whatever section.   I am in the gurnee area so most of the kenosha trails are closer for me.  But I want to start riding palos and possibly help out there too.

I've heard that about petrified but there's always bikes there and the only people that seem to get mad are the golfers!
