(Please note that we are now meeting at 6pm now that the days are shorter. In the summer we meet at 6:30) We ride Deer Grove every Thursday night at 6:00pm. Meet in the West Parking lot closest to Dundee Rd. & Rt. 14. We head out on the yellow loop by 6:10pm and ride clockwise so if you arrive late head counterclockwise or wait for us to finish the 1st lap. This is a 1-3 lap ride on a crushed gravel surface. It's hilly, twisty and fun for getting in some cardio between single track rides. This is a 6 mile gravel loop with 2 very short single track sections. Feel free to ride with us for 1, 2 or 3 laps. We run out of daylight by the end of lap 3. The Multi is super sketchy, be careful on the corners and the middle of the track... the gravel is very loose and sand like.

Fun ride tonight, great turnout too. After the group photo 2 more guys arrived for a total of 11 riders. 3 of them were new to our Thursday night ride so it was nice to meet some more new riders.  |

We don't ride at all. This is a photography club and our summer theme this year is mountain biking. Some of us ride after the photo shoot. Come give it a try. Make sure you log your trip on Strava to see how you do compared to our group  Seriously though, the only way to get a good action shot is with a DSLR and hot shoe flash and those don't fit in my camelbak! |
