Ladies and Gents,

I'm a fan of the DH and naturally hate climbing and running. However, it's a necessary evil (unless there is a chairlift). I got myself a heart rate monitor and have been doing heart rate training since December.  Recently I started to do interval training and hill sprints. FINALLY I am climbing hills without my heart pounding out of my chest and legs turning to lead.  I still have a ways to go regarding my cardio fitness, but it's happening.  I doubt it had anything to do with being 40 alone, but I know youth ameliorates fitness deficits for sure.  So... there is talk of some kind of 40+ rides?  I am sure many of you are quite south of me, but what about some good old fashioned Kettles with a connector to Emma Carlin ? And then some snacks?

Would be more than willing to go with the flow at Kettle.  Have only been there once since I turned 40 and have three weeks until work starts again.  If anyone is willing to drive up I can provide a couple of $$ to gas/snacks and twisted stories about park rangering.

43 years young here.  I race hare scrambles and enduros on dirt bikes.  I just am getting into this scene to supplement my racing addiction.

I know there are quite a few things happening in August. If anyone else is game for the Kettles let me know which Saturdays work.  I should double check mine to make sure I don't have anything happening and I'll post what days I can do.
