...its well fertilized - nice.

couple trees down.  North side I found 3 large dead stumps 90 d across the trail and moved them aside.

South West corner - one long, very green tree has fallen across the trail....couldnt move it - easy to jump.

Both blockages dont look natural to me.....

I really think that horse had problems. It was like random small pieces throughout the trail. Whats worse is when you get a flat heading out of cemetery hill and to add insult to injury you walk into horse crap.

I've been riding palos for about 10 years, and I don't understand why so many horses are allowed to sh*t all over the trails! If I am walking my dogs on the trail and they went all over the trail, I would be extremely disrespectful to not clean it off the trail. agreed? So, why is it that 6 horses can create 10 times the waste my dogs would, and no one even thinks of cleaning the trail? or holds the horse owners responsible? I like horses, just not on our mtn bike trails. I know their multi-use and we have to share, but every time I've seen a horse rider, they act offended, like I'm in their way. The amount of bikers is way more than horse riders, cant they go somewhere else? or at least show some respect?

Many horse riders, like mountain bikers riders, are very respectful of other trail users.  And in both groups you get a few bad apples that everyone remembers.

As far as for the horse apples, they are not pleasant, but they are also not from an animal that eats protein, so it dries up pretty fast and goes away. Yes it would be better if it wasn't there at all, but seeing it is, use it as an opportunity to practice your bunny hops and most importantly, remember to ride with your mouth closed in those sections.

I rode the loop yesterday after my race and there's an unpassable (unless your Hans Rey) right near the beginning of the west entrance.

There is only 1 entrance to Cemetary Hill as far as I know, right out side & across the street of the entrance to Maple Lake East parking lot.  Any other access unless I have a really bad memory at the moment is not a legal trail.
