As rain can by spotty, this thread provides a rain fall report from a location very close to the Palos trail system.

Considering the precipitation in the Chicago area is not uniform it is very useful.

Palos is only 5 miles south of me and often doesn't get rained on when I get a good soaking, or vice versa.

Considering the distances folks come from to play in Palos it is nice that they have an actual on the ground report of the trail conditions.

9/8.....just .25" this am.............it's lonely in here....I feel like the last guy to leave a party.....should I start posting on Palos Riders FB? I've avoided having a FB page so far, maybe it's time.....maybe it's time.

Pretty sure this tread is where all the action is.

I always come here to get the scoop, because I know it will be here and I can look back a few days. Then use the info to help gauge the trail conditions.  When you post on FB it gets lost in the stream and FB users look here and forward it.
