We will be grilling after the workday. (12 noon).

Everyone wearing wrist bands will be well fed. Please remember that there is no alcohol allowed in Kane County Forest Preserves.

Wrist bands are required to be on the trail workday. They are issued once waiver forms are signed. We will have the waiver forms at the site. If you are power tool certified, please bring your certification so that we can place it on file. Certified power tool users are issued a different color wrist band so that we can identify who is able to use them.

Wrist bands should be kept for a drawing at the end of the year.

Mike, I am not sure if Marty the Master Chef is coming up but I would be happy to assist him if he is... if not, I can still assist. Or is this already covered?

Walked the trail today with my son. We were very impressed with the amount of work already done. We will be there tomorrow. What is the target distance? I logged just over a mile when I mapped it.

Yes, a lot of time has already gone into the trails in order for us to verify the layout and to make it safe for volunteers. The distance was 1.3 miles but we shortened in in favor of quality rather than distance. It is critical that we get this right as we want to be given the option to expand into the other areas.

Marty is going way way North.

I will be happy to assist Marty in setting up, cooking, plating and breaking down... unless you mean that he is going out of State North.
