I will be there unless the weather turns on us. I guess its not going to noaa.gov have 2 completely different forcasts for being 10 miles apart.

I"m hopeful to be there, but I have a meeting that afternoon. I'll play it by ear.

I was at my first work day last Sunday at raceway. I can be there this Thursday if needed. What exactly will be needed? I do not own a chain saw.

Boots, gloves, long sleeves/pants, hat, bug repellant, water, snacks and a bike if you wish.    Hand-Tools should be provided if necessary.  there may be some remaining "human labor" requiring no tools - just a good workout of pulling things out of the trail!!  (hint: trail work is a great workout if you dont mind getting extra dirty!!!)

We are going to carry on with the rough cut. Hopefully we will have at least two certified power tool users for the chainsaws, the rest of us will use loppers and move the brush out of the way.

Bring some gloves and work clothes and help build the trails. We have received positive comments from all parties involved.

Wow, what a successful workday this evening. Thank you to everyone that came out after work this evening. We accomplished way more than we anticipated. This has set us up to complete the rough cut on Saturday morning.

Join us on Saturday at 8.30 by the silo off Route 31 to complete the rough cut and clear the trail for the final stage which will be preparation & building of the final trail.

excellent - this post goes to show how one workday (er night) can have a profound effect on the project and how it can move it from one stage to the next.  Hard Work Pays Off.
