Happy snowy March 1st to all of my fellow CAMBr members, forum members, and those who lurk and see what we are doing!

The race is 5 months and 1 week from today, roughly, and it is that time of year again.  To help continue to make the Meltdown the biggest and best race in all of Illinois we need help to do all of the essentials to run it.  From making sure that parking goes smoothly to marshaling the races everyone who pitches in makes a huge difference in everything running smoothly.  So please start to think about how you can help us.

More to follow.  Ride on!

Scott,

I am working to get a big group from EBC to help.....how many course marshals do you need?
My goal is to try to provide all the marshals you need.....we will see...

Thanks,

Hi George,

We have to have a meeting and once the course is set we will know how many marshals we will need.  Once I have that information I will be posting up the volunteer sign up on the race site.  Thank you for all of the help!

How do you manage to always schedule this race the same time that Phish hits the area

Best of luck and wish we could be racing and volunteering

See the link to start volunteering.  If you have any questions please feel free to ask.  http://palosmeltdown.com/registration/volunteer

Who wants to waste money on Phish when the remaining Dead are alive this summer?

Now no more non-related volunteer stuff in here or I will ban myself for a day.

Okay my fellow CAMBrites.  We need more people to make this happen this year.

If you have any questions please feel free to PM me.

This is always a great time for a great cause!  So help us help the trails we all love to use!

The Palos Meltdown is just over 2 months away and Scott (Zaskar24) really needs more volunteers to sign up.  Whether you're racing or just being a spectator that day, please think about how you might be able to help out.  I personally find it best to volunteer before my race because it gives me something to do when I get there rather than worrying about racing.  There are many volunteer positions for many time slots that are available so you should be able to find something that fits you and your constraints.
