If your wanting to get that new Fat Bike it's first good workout, head north. Blue Mound park received a 6 to 8"s of snow

A lot of bikes in the park yesterday, The almost 7 mile loop around the mound is packed. It was a dry snow, so it is still a little challenging in areas.

Get on the Mad City Dirt forum to check out current conditions. We have other club trails that are also packed, Blue Mound will give you the longest and most remote experience.

We are still working through trail changes and issues in the park, so if you do visit please let anyone you see know that you are there to Fat Bike, write it on your park pass, otherwise they think your a skier.

If your looking for a snow ride, the trail at Blue Mound is in great shape. With traffic the trail will only get better it will be fast and flowy. These conditions will not last.

Make the trip North for some great winter riding and get off that trainer for the weekend.
