Big Marsh is opening! No Kidding, this is the real deal, so come on out and see the first stage of what is going to be a really big deal for off road cycling in Chicago and the upper Midwest.

Please join Superintendent Mike Kelly, the Chicago Park District, and Friends of Big Marsh for an opening event at Park No. 564 - Big Marsh. (I always like the Park 564 name, but maybe that's just me) They will cut a ribbon to formally open up the new park, and will announce the next big phases of this magnificent new public open space.

The ribbon cutting will take place starting at 11 AM on Sunday, November 6th, with opening activities following until 2 PM.

If you are getting advice from me, I would strongly suggest you get a second opinion.

Can you post a trail map and Google Maps link to the park?

Here is the link to the Big Marsh website.
It has all the information on the park and near the bottom of the webpage is a link to google maps.

I plan on going tomorrow to the grand opening. This is a great addition to the Southeast side of Chicago. It is only bout 3 mile from my home.
