Nov 11th 3:00pm - 7:00pm: Ride for Recovery
Benefit for Rick Sakalas (Prison Rick, they guy who has help build every trail at Palos)
Last May Rick took a fall on his bike and became paralyzed from the neck down.  He spent over a month in the hospital and rehab clinic and has started to get some control of his legs and a little of his arms.
As you might guess the impact to Rick and his family has been huge and we are doing what we can to help with expenses, which there are many and show him some love with a benefit in his honor.
There will be a band, food, silent auction, and a Go-Slow Bike Race.
Wrist bands include a couple of beers and some food.  $50 for one wristband and $25 for your partner. Kids are free.
Come on out and say hi to Rick and help him on his ride to recovery.

Hi Guys. Because I can't be there,  is there a way for me to pay for someone else's wristband, or simply make a donation?
Maybe make a donation button(s) someplace on the Cambr.org site would be a good idea?
I can't even imagine. Thank you for doing this for one of our fallen.

OK sir. I hope Rick's benefit was a smash.

We're all set. I donated today thru PayPal. Thanks again for the info and for helping a fellow "traveler!" (meaning Rick!)
