I run a high school outdoor environmental club and was looking for some service opportunities for the kids in the club.  I thought about dragging some kids to a Palos workday.

Just curious if anyone has done anything like this before.

Good idea?
Bad idea?

Could you share your experience?  Thanks in advance.

We're glad to have kids at workdays, but it's usually best to have a only a few with their own close adult supervision. Trail work does require some technique and at a typical workday we only have a few crew leaders that can show people what to do. Some days there are exceptions when we need big crews and we can handle a lot of inexperienced people and if that's the case it'll be noted in the workday posting.

We're on a workday break until October, so please keep an eye on the CAMBr site and Facebook for the schedule when we crank back up again.

Thanks for the support!
