Want something to be thankful for?

How about Snowboarding this close to home BEFORE Thanksgiving?

Conditions permitting, Wilmot will be open on Wednesday night.
I'm thinking of heading up after work.

Anyone interested?

not to snow, or rain rather, on your parade, but that could be the most horrific day to be driving on the expressways.  i remember 4 years ago coming from o'hare around 3:30 pm, the overhead sign stated 150 minutes into the loop.  not too mention all the construction north.

btw, they have snow already??

I was at Wilmot yesterday, and I take route 12 to get there, not the expressways.  YMMV.

Dude, sweet, what time?  Is there really more then 1/8" of snow on the ground there? Want to have a heated political conversation after, at the bub down the road?

I see you found my ride report with proof that they have snow.  They are reporting 12-24 inches.  Not much, but enough.

I was planning to head up after work, but still trying to work out all the details.  Andy has expressed light interest, but he is more interested in drinking.  I don't see why we can't combine the two.

Mine is a 159 too.  Just picked it up at the end of last season.  I enjoyed it a lot the one time I rode it.
I got it mounted up with some new K2 Cinches that I scored on closeout at REI.

I haven't rode it yet this season, I am waiting for some deeper/better snow.

On Sunday I rode my Libtech Dark 161w, I will probably ride it again tonight unless I have worn out the repair from the core shot I got at Wilmot last year.  It seemed to be holding up pretty well.  I will check it before I roll out.
