Trail Review

This park is actually three parks, with the first two offering a very calm experience. Park #3 takes it up a few notches, with two twisty singletrack loops inside a gentler outer ski trail loop. Expect some steep doubletrack, with more technical trails cutting through the woods.

There are currently only about two miles of trails, but the county parks service is working on expansion plans. In the meantime, multiple laps are certainly worth the effort.

Getting There

Take I-90/94 west (north) towards Madison, Wisconsin. Take the US-12/18 east exit, towards Waukesha (away from Madison). Follow it about 10 miles to Cambridge. Turn right on County Trunk B. Go across the bridge in Rockdale, keep going straight on, then follow the curve to the right. The park entrance is halfway up the hill on your right.

More Info

A County Park trail pass is required.

Worba's Dane County chapter, Corps (Capitol-Area Off Road Pathfinders) built and maintain the singletrack. Find out more from their website.
