Hi Folks,

We (CAMBr) have plans to do maintenance and perhaps open up one of the trails near the river tht has overgrown, but not much more for 2009 at KK.

However we need to work with the naperville parks people to help steer the way the Du Page county trail will be running through KK park.

http://www.naperville.il.us/dynamic_content.aspx?id=456

The map in the link doesn't work right now, I'v asked if it is due to be fixed, but I'm told that the trail will run through KK using the esisting multi track paths.
The bigest change will be the plans to make access over the river for strollers/wheel chairs which means a chenge to the bridge or a new bridge at the KK road car park.

KK is not a huge destination and it could support a little more traffic (and more singletrack.. maybe 2010) but we need to make sure the balance is kept and we don't end up with a wheel chair/stroller freeway through the middle of the two existing singletrack trails.

It worked for me so I attached it here. Looks like the trail would stay clear of the singletrack, cutting thru the place north-to-south.

Thanks for the attachement Dom.  It does look like the goodies will be spared and a decent amount of the trail will be on the existing multitrack.
