If it ain't raining, I will be riding pavement this Wednesday evening....  No Foolin'!

Location is open for discussion.  Post up with your foolish ideas... but only if you want to participate.

(although, if you don't show up, I guess the joke's on me.)

Busse sounds fun, I could probably be there around 5:30-5:45.

FWIW, there is an easy route from Busse up north along the Salt Creek that meets up with Palatine Trail and from there up to Deer Grove.
Just a foolish suggestion for another option if we wanted to extend our ride time past sunset as we are foolishly limited to by the CCFPD.

There is a nice little parking lot next to the hospital that the church folk don't seem to mind cyclists cars being there after dusk

Could you google us up a map Sean?

Let's plan on a 5:30 meeting, rolling out no later than 6pm.

The rain should take care of any lingering snow today.  Roads and sidewalks are clear in my area.
The daytime temps seem to put black ice out of the realm of possibility, but you never know...
The darkside of the force is strong in me.  Just look at what I did to Lance Armstrong from the other side of the Atlantic Ocean.

If I have time to tune up the hardtail tonight that's what I'll ride.  Otherwise it's my squishy Coiler that I'll be on, without a big ring

I am 99.9% "in" for this ride... I work just minutes from busse but I always park by frontage rd (53) and golf road> then ride towards Higgins and follow the 7.7 mile loop either way.  Guess I would be the only fool out there on a FS MTB... gotta put a small block 8 on the rear...anyone else ride their trail rig on pavement> yes I know this is a "foolish" question but entertain me.
I will be on my FS rig, only with skinny tires.  Pretty sure RidingIllini is on a FS rig as well.
