After the Plainfield workday, and hitting a few of the jump lines there, FLAguy and myself headed over to Palos.

Rideaholic pulled up in the parking lot at the same time. First we went to check out Cemetary Hill.  Apart from a couple of muddy spots it was in good shape.

We decided to head back the way we came to the Staging area, where we bumped into Bipedalbiped making it a foursome. Took the connector, cut through through Wolf Road Woods,  and then the multi track to the paved road.

Rode Turf with Stan's Corner and the new reroute (nice  ), up Psychopath, down 3 Ravines, up Gravity Cavity and finally the connector (does this have an actual name?)  back into the staging area.

After a couple of well deserved ice cold beverages at the picnic table we all went home.

It was a great first Palos ride of the year for me, and it was fun to introduce a new rider to the area (FLAguy) to the Palos trails.

When-abouts where you guys out there? I got out late, around 6pm. Yielding to picnic-ers and helmetless kids was the name of the game anywhere near the Maple lake parking lot. other then that the trails were pretty nice, too bad we have a 3 day rain forcast...

There is an art, or rather, a knack to flying. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss.
