Knock Knolls was great. Considering it is considered a beginner area it was way better than I thought it would be. The trails are good. The inner loop is a little soft still but it very rideable - there's a good line though most soft spots. I multi-track is even fun for a change from the singletrack so you can get some spin in your legs and some speed up.
I was out about 1 1/4 hr and though I got lost a couple of times I think I started to sort it out. I would guess that I found 90+% of the single track. There are some very sweet sections. Dunno if the park has a speed limit but I'm sure I broke it many times, so even it I am unfit and my skills are not as sharp as they use to be, I think I'll still hold my own out there

A few of the logs got me at the beginning and made me dab but in my excuse my bike feels a bit weird at the moment as the damping and spring rate is all off and I couldn't remember how much chainring clearance I had. Towards the end, I was hoping them like a ... well not a pro, but a competent amateur

For someone who has not ridden a mountain bike in 6 1/2 years (apart from a few days last July), KK was a wonderful introduction back to the sport!
