Hard tails in Fruita and Vail, yes. They held up great, dual suspension would have been very nice, but not necessary at all- especially with the insane climbs. We rode DH Kona Stinkies in Winter Park, a bit overkill for most of the runs, but made all the drops and jumps smooth as butter. Could have ridden most of the blues on a hardtail tho, but with less enjoyment.

after the first time I was in Ryans I was thinking about getting one.  But now that there's at least 4 in CAMBr I'll have to find something else :-P.

I see an awesome line in that rock garden you're walking Marcin .

Pictures are hard to judge. Those rocks are 2-4 ft tall, and jagged as a mother. I am by no stretch of the imagination a trials rider. I tried riding down the top portion, then got to a 5 ft drop into basically a pit of boulders. i decided to walk as I value my life.

don't think I didn't notice you were on a hardtail either .  Admittedly, I value my life much less than you value yours.
