Ha ha!!!!  Yeah, that is Russ.  That was a funny day.  Wow was that a long time ago.  Isn't that the day Russ flushed his keys down the toliet?  And we told him to ask the girl working there for a coat hanger and he tried to fish them out?  Good times.

Wild Thing looks pretty extreme!

Is it as bad as it looks or does the camera make it look worse than it really is?

Te camera takes off 12 inches. Those steps, as I hit the tree, were about 2-3 feet drops of wornoutness. The corners had 1 foot drops as you are turning the corner then there is the 3 foot drop as you go into the wood again.

Film takes the edge off of everything.  If you see footage and think "wow that's pretty scary" you'd probably shit yourself if you saw it in person .

Here is a small montage that I put together.  Its mostly footage from a DH trail in Tulsa, OK.

Cool looking trail.

Not a bad video, and the different angles are really cool.  However, I would think that the video would be elevated to the next level if you skipped the three runs and inter cut the three views into a single run.  I know its faking it, but hey, that's how Hollywood does it.

Still, I'm jealous as you got to ride there and I did not  , plus you have a spiffy head cam and I also do not.  So you're a better chappy than me

Nothing related to around here, but there are some nice high resolution video (main are 80MB+ so I would recommend downloading first and then playing them) of some of Britain's finest.  These are way better than YouTube crap.

If you enjoy 5+ inch travel suspension bikes, then I suggest you look at the Gatescarth Pass video and book a plane flight to here.
Enjoy!

PS. Watching these kinds of makes me miss the UK biking scene.    The Cwncarn video taken here, which is just awesome, was only 2 1/2 hours drive from my old house.  Why oh why did I move to the flatlands?

Yeah, I would have done more editing, but I didnt have the time.  At the end of the season, I am making a full length dvd of all the trips I went on throughout the year.  That will be edited like the Kranked and NWD videos, all flowy and nicely edited
