I've only road the blue Muir trail at Kettle. I thought it was just plain good fun. Palos offered more of a challenge IMO, but Kettle was way more flowy and fun with and good mix of transitions of ups and downs. You could almost pump the 1st 3 miles at Kettle. It did get more technical as it went, but nothing mind blowing IMO. I did not however take the connector trail to the north, which I heard is where it gets to be more challenging. SWK is my home trail though, so I might be slightly spoiled with what I think is technical, at least with the harsh ups and downs.

Does anyone know the mileage of the full-monty as it stands right now? This would be after the recent re-routes on the connector and the re-routes at the begining of Emma.  If anyone has a GPS showing elevation gain/loss for this route that would be even better. Thanks

It is about 28 miles...depending on whether the weather is such that the southern portion of the blue loop is closed.
