hi guys im new to mountain bikes. i have a stock trek 4900 with a v brake set up want to switch to disc brakes just picked up avid bb7 front and back set up. will these work on it with a new set of rims to support disc

make sure your fork and frame have mounts for the calipers as well. Almost all frames do, but some of the lower end forks do not.

thanks guys just checked the front will work but the back will need an adapter that i found a part # for through trek . now just need to find a set of wheels thanks again guys
