Page is already down.  Maybe he didn't intend to make it public?

Looks like Mr. Murphy is interested. Here is his response on facebook if you did not see it...

Quote
Alan Murphy: I like the idea of building a track/trail for mountain biking.A few thoughts would be to look at perhaps the landfill preserves....Blackwell, Mallard lake, And Green valley. Each of the preserves have the possibilities of also tying into regional trail user's access. It's a great idea one on which can be built upon and molded into a great asset for the entire district. I would like to hear more!!!!

I've sent Al Murphy an email with some contact info and a little info about Cambr and the current singletrack situation in Chicagoland. Hopefully I'll get something back. I live in Dupage and would be willing to take the Project Manager role in this if it develops further. I am currently a Project Manager at work, so why not just keep doing it after work, right?

I think Mallard Lake was the place with the thin cap. Blackwell could be a possibility though. There's a limestone path around the place and I figure there's room to put a singletrack trail in as well to get some distance. In a couple places deer paths have been used by hikers and cyclist to explore deeper in. Don't know them well enough to say if they're a good start or need rerouting, but at least there's land enough to work with.

Settlers Hill out in Batvia was the place that had the thin cap.

Looks like Kotecki's got the lead in the election. Ahead by 10% at the moment.

Only three precincts left to report.  It appears that Kotecki will win.
