Join us for some much-needed trail work at a gem of a local trail! The to-do list will be announced just ahead of the day, once we get final park district approval for the work and date. Check back for more info. If you enjoy the trails here, put in some time to give back and help make the place even better. We really need the extra hands. See all the West workdays here, split by destination.

Meet up will be at 9am, location tbd. We'll go over the day's work and head into the trail by 9:15.

Sunday, we're looking to give the southwest end of Wildcat some care and attention. Leveling the armor jobs and capping. See you at the 2nd lot at 9am! With the glorious weather, expect a post-work ride. Me, I'll just watch you all leave with a quiet tear rolling down my cheek.

Dom I can bring my squishy bike for you to ride if you're starting to get the shakes.

Ooooh! That would be like having a cheap and tawdry affair behind my Iron Horse's back—and while she's in the hospital! I LIKE it!!     Let me know when my ride time is gonna be and I'm there!

I won't be done with my 5K race until 10:30 or so.  Will you all be out there still?

Yeah, the guys did more great work reinforcing the trail. We lined one edge with rocks to keep horse hooves from carving it off by a spring pond.

The next workday, on 5/8, will be moved to Palos for what looks to be a big to-do with their new trail. The Half-Acre race team should be joining us, with refreshments.
