Building a new trail is something every trail volunteer should experience! For a lot of people, carving out something people will enjoy for years to come is a special point of pride. Not just because a trail seems a lot different when you shaped and sculpted it with your own hands, but that when others say they loved riding it you know you've done something really cool for your fellow rider.

And since the prospects of a new trail at Saw Wee Kee are unfortunately low (and nothing else is pressing), we're taking the opportunity to help at Palos this Saturday. Come earn some bragging rights! Meet at Pulaski Woods West: the lot just northwest of the MTB staging area. There will be food and refreshments afterwards. And if the weather cooperates bring your bike for a group ride.
