We Need You Making the ride happen takes more than bike gear. It takes building strong land manager relationships that can weather favorable and unfavorable decisions. It also takes having volunteers to handle the diverse jobs needed to keep this org going. Our strength is our membership and we hope you'll make us stronger—even if it's just by becoming a member. Join us for some much-needed trail work at a gem of a local trail! The to-do list will be announced just ahead of the day, once we get final park district approval for the work and date. Check back for more info. If you enjoy the trails here, put in some time to give back and help make the place even better. We really need the extra hands. See all the West workdays here, split by destination.

Meet up will be at 9am, location tbd. We'll go over the day's work and head into the trail by 9:15.

All the rain we've been getting means the plants have been growing like crazy! They're crowding the trail corridor and we'll need lots of hands to beat them back at the next few workdays.

The park district's interns have made some good progress trimming Wildcat and part of Vertical Velocity. We'll likely switch the trimming part of our workday to attacking more of Vertical Velocity. There's some hard-to-avoid poison ivy that needs to go!

If the trails have dried out sufficiently we'll do a ride after lunch. See you at the second lot!

I'm going to be there at 7:00 for a pre-workday ride.  If it's too wet, breakfast at McD's

Couple lite sprinkles moving across the area. Should be over pretty quickly.
