We Need You Making the ride happen takes more than bike gear. It takes building strong land manager relationships that can weather favorable and unfavorable decisions. It also takes having volunteers to handle the diverse jobs needed to keep this org going. Our strength is our membership and we hope you'll make us stronger—even if it's just by becoming a member. Join us for some much-needed trail work at a gem of a local trail! The to-do list will be announced just ahead of the day, once we get final park district approval for the work and date. Check back for more info. If you enjoy the trails here, put in some time to give back and help make the place even better. We really need the extra hands. See all the West workdays here, split by destination.

Meet up will be at 9am, location tbd. We'll go over the day's work and head into the trail by 9:15. Poison ivy is still a problem out there, but if you know what you're doing it's not a big deal to manage it.

Saturday we'll attack Jack Rabbit. It's a long trail (by SWK standards) so plenty of hands will be needed. You need to let your muscles rest up for the race on Sunday so why not help out to make a good trail better? See you at 9am. We'll drive over to the start of Jack Rabbit to avoid a long hike.

The tiny loop in Wildcat (the one that's always flooded) could use some minor clearing...
