Couple of places to check out.

I called and they say that the end of April into the beginning of May is a good time.  I heard that there may be a women's bike clinic sometime in the spring but two trips couldn't hurt.  The rally campsites are open then but which one? 150, 75 or 50 people.

We have extra camping gear... for anyone who needs it.

Been there many times and a good portion of the time is a blur.

Last time there Burak and i had an open course on the HP decent. There was a time trial just starting and we got a clear run all the way down before the racers made it that far. There are many other good and not so good trails nearby. I haven't had the chance to venture to the others yet.

Do go it is completely worth it.

I have a hitch rack (though no hitch, duh!) that you can borrow should I not be able to make it.

I doubt I would be able to make it in April though I would really like to go.  May would probably be better for me.

Is there anything for non cycling families to do?  Just wondering what my (camping adverse wife) and 4 and 7 year olds could do if they were to come along...

1.25" or 2"?  How many bikes will it hold?

Its a Thule 917 T2 for 1 1/4 inch hitch.  It holds two bikes.

I got it for a trade, but I have yet to put a hitch on my car.  For now it is waiting patiently until that day.  Even if I can make the trip, the rack probably can still be borrowed as I doubt I will have my hitch by then.

1.25" = 2 bike capacity
2" = 4 bike capacity

Site 1 is by the trail head but out in the open, site 2, then the circle is site 3, and most secluded.
4 & 5 back out.
