Does anyone know if there is a way to load this as a custom map to a garmin etrex 20?
Thanks John

Can you open the kmz file in your Garmin software on your computer?

If you can, you may be able to save the file as a gpx file that can be uploaded to your etrex. The map itself wouldn't load but the routes and waypoints should.

In order to see topo info and detail you will have to load Garmin compatible maps into your unit.

This is mostly speculation on my part, as I use a different brand GPS and the software I use lets me save in different formats (.gpx .kmz)

Thanks a lot for making this. I refer to it frequently.

I added a few things that some might find useful: Waterfall Glen, I&M Canal, and Centennial trails. Not as well done as the originals, but it's something. It would be great to have all the trails on one map.

Edit: Messed up the first time. Fixed it. Also added unzipped kml (second file) which works better on some devices (iphone).
I just discovered the "Bicycle" option on Google Maps after doing this, but these files are nice to have too.

See links in second post on thread below for kml to gpx conversion. There's the gpsbabel program which you download, and a browser-based program. The file formats you want are listed as "Google Earth Keyhole markup language" (kml) and "GPX XML" I believe.

BIG Thanks to all who helped me load these tracks! It is great to have the confidence now to go out there and just run wild but still no where I am. Might have to walk some trails today just to check it out! Thanks again everyone. If anyone needs this file in .gpx I have it now pm me and I will send it to you.

Please do not ride the trails if they are wet.  You will destroy them.
