CAMBr Departs IMBA Chapter Program

The Board of the Chicago Area Mountain Bikers (CAMBr) has made the decision to leave the Chapter Program of the International Mountain Bicycling Association (IMBA) as of November 1, 2019.  Going forward CAMBr will assume all the membership management functions that were the primary feature of the IMBA Chapter Program.
 
While CAMBr has had a very positive relationship and still supports the mission and goals of IMBA, the transition away from the Chapter Program will keep all membership dues within CAMBr fully supporting our local trail initiatives. Current IMBA/CAMBr memberships will be transferred to CAMBr and will be honored through their full term. Members wishing to remain IMBA members will need to re-establish membership directly through IMBA. 
 
We will continue to work with IMBA on areas of national and regional advocacy and supporting the growth of mountain biking within the Chicago region and across the country.
